My Princesses
I always said I wanted kids but never did I imagine being blessed with 3. I figured I would have that picket fence family, at least one boy and one girl. Well three tries later we ended up with three girls and I can say that I love it! My oldest, Anastasia, is going through the pre-teen phase. She hates when I try to comb her hair, she loves watching TV and she is trying to find her style. She loves the new styles mixing and matching. She is a great big sister and she loves to make things her own.
Viviana is 3 going on 20. She is the complete opposite of what her older sister was at that age. She is outgoing and I can take her anywhere. She is at the "why" stage but she asks "how". "Vivis you need to put that away"...how, she asks. "Because you need to pick things up"...how, again and again. She loves hats, veggies, and is dying to start school.
Our newest is Charlie. For a one year old she has a lot of fight in her! She has an attitude of a teenager but is also very loving. She's been walking since 10 months and nothing gets in her way. She has a love/hate relationship with her sisters. One min she'll be smacking them and then the next thing you know she's hugging and kissing them.

A weekend with friends
I've come to appreciate our friends that have kids. I sometimes would like for my husband and I to have an occasional date night but it is just hard either getting a family member to be available, have enough money to hire a sitter for three, or trusting someone to watch them. This weekend we were able to celebrate a friends birthday and i didn't even have to worry about someone watching our girls. Our birthday girl has kids and our other friends have kids. The beauty of friends with kids is that they don't expect you to come without them! Dora and other cartoons were put on in the living room while we were able to mingle and have a few drinks. While it's nice to occasionally "get away" it's always nice to have your kids around or to not worry about finding someone to watch your kids. We've been able to throw kid friendly parties because why should we teach our kids that they can't be around other adults!

Writing has never been my strong point. I like to think of myself as creative and although a million thoughts and ideas race through my head, I have a hard time putting it down on paper. I never considered myself a blogger and I never really had an intent to start. I am unsure if this will continue and how long it will continue. I am unsure of my audience and I hope that anyone that comes across it will get something from it. I am starting this blog because I hope it will help me not only on this new yet exciting journey but also because I hope to reach those that have come across my experiences in their own life. I hope to be able to connect with others that share similar likes as well. Take it with a grain of salt or don't take it but if you do read it, please give me your feedback!
